Expand access to student mental health and well-being resources
At Oregon State University, we take student health and well-being seriously.
Even before the pandemic, colleges and universities across the country, including OSU, saw greatly increasing demand for mental wellness services. Since then, the US Surgeon General, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry have all declared that America is embroiled in a national mental health crisis for youth. In 2022, 81% of OSU students reported moderate or serious psychological distress.
By making a gift today, you support OSU students by providing vital funding to a variety of programs and initiatives, including:
- the new Anytime Anywhere app, which gives students access to counseling from anywhere, 24 hours per day.
- the Beavers Belong Support Network, a new peer support program;
- OSU Assist, which provides compassionate mobile crisis response; and other beneficial programs.
