Scholarships and Fellowships

Creating opportunities for all hardworking, talented students to pursue higher education has never been more important. The knowledge and experiences students gain at OSU – the questions they learn to ask, the creativity they develop, the collaboration skills they practice – are vital to solving the greatest problems the world faces now and in the generations ahead.

Scholarships make it possible. By ensuring that promising students from every walk of life have the support they need to thrive, we launch a new generation of leaders into a world that needs them.

Undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships ease students’ financial burdens and reward them for academic excellence, leadership and achievement. Undergraduate scholarships provide students access to the degrees that they’ll use to make positive contributions in their careers and their communities. Graduate fellowships are key to attracting the finest students to Oregon State in a fiercely competitive national environment. These advanced students work closely with Oregon State faculty, shape the experience of many undergraduates and power OSU’s research engine.

Each scholarship is an investment in the university’s most important contribution to the future: our graduates. Donors interested in supporting OSU students can choose to add to the general scholarship and fellowship fund, donate to an existing fund (a few are listed below), or establish a named fund with specific eligibility requirements.
