Celebrate the passion and pride of Beaver Nation 

There are fans, and there are superfans. This immersive experience highlights the passion of some of the colorful characters at the heart of Oregon State pride featured in the fall issue of Oregon Stater magazine.  

• Check out the Stater superfan bios on display. 

• Help capture oral history on our vintage phone by telling us about your favorite superfan — even if it’s YOU! 

• Snap pics in the photo booth with themed props. 

• Enjoy giveaways, including posters, magnets and stickers. 

• Make your own superfan button.  

• Celebrate Homecoming with fans alongside OSUAA Tailgate Town! 

Along the way, learn about some Oregon State Beaver Believers taking fandom to the next level: Marvin “Mr. Beaverman” Yonamine; Lu “Cookie Man” Ratzlaff; Andy Lake and Todd Butler, the “Keepers of the Dam Flag”; Susan “The Collector” Mayer Schmidt; Sharon “Mama Heckers” Heckers; Alan “The Beaver Behind Enemy Lines” Thayer; and students Shelby Poggio and Nick Abele, “The Dam Builders.”
