A national leader in food and beverage innovation, Oregon State brings together award-winning programs like Fermentation Science, cutting-edge research at the Food Innovation Center, trailblazing academic tracks like the new Wine Business Management MBA and hands-on learning through Beaver Classic, its flagship brand of student-made products. Together, the university’s efforts have launched careers and supported business growth across the industry.
Now, the OSU Alumni Association is creating a network for this robust ecosystem of entrepreneurs and innovators.

- Wine tastings courtesy of Dave Cho, ’18, and Lois Cho. Alumni-owned and -made CHO Wines, Oregon’s first Korean American owned winery, has been recognized by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast’s FUTURE 40 Tastemakers list and James Suckling for their award-winning Willamette Valley wines.
- Small bites from Sol Chef PDX, led by Jackie Sappington, MBA ’26, and Adam Sappington. The Portland food scene veterans own Country Cat and Harlow restaurants and hold titles ranging from 2015 Food Network Chopped champions to James Beard Award semifinalists.
