Your impact: Dam Proud Day 2025
Beavs rallied like never before on April 30
"Dam Proud Day connected us with support networks we didn't know existed. The support from donors has revolutionized our financial outlook for next year. Because of Dam Proud Day we'll be able to send 15 students to the ITE Western District Annual Conference this summer. This will provide our members with technical learnings, networking opportunities, and help advance their careers!"
Emilio Calderon
President of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE@OSU)
As part of the Beaver Backers program, Emilio inspired 44 people to donate this year! Thank you to the 85 donors who gave $4,760 to this professional development organization.
“This was my first Dam Proud Day on campus and to look out and see our diversity, our community, and the way that we support and lift each other up was so gratifying to see. I’ve met students that have received scholarships and to know that we are making a difference — it’s what makes Dam Proud Day so extraordinarily important to me.”
Penny Yano Atkins, ’79
Immediate Past Chair,
OSU Foundation Board of Trustees
