Helen and Darrel Purkerson Faculty Scholar

Members of OSU's Class of 1963, Helen and Darrel Purkerson have made a planned gift that will create an endowed faculty position in the College of Pharmacy. Darrel has served on the college's advisory council.

"This gift is very significant for the college because it represents our first faculty endowment," said Mark Zabriskie, dean of the College of Pharmacy. "Having resources to reward our best educators, researchers, and clinicians is extremely important. It raises our sights, spurring everyone on to greater achievements."
