Each year, OSU design alumni and industry leaders gather at the OSU Portland Center for Industry Connect, a hands-on mentorship and networking event that brings today’s creative industry together with tomorrow’s talent. If you’re an experienced designer, strategist, merchandiser or maker, we’d love for you to be part of it.

This isn’t a panel or a presentation; it’s real conversations with students who want to understand what life looks like in the field. Your perspective helps them navigate big questions, refine their goals and take confident next steps.

Who you’ll meet
Students exploring careers in:

Interior, apparel and graphic design.
Product and merchandising management and entrepreneurship.
Innovation and design management.

What you’ll do
In an informal, interactive setting, you’ll:

Discuss pathways into design careers.
Share insights about the creative workplace.
Review portfolios, projects or résumés.
Build relationships with emerging talent.
