Homecoming Court 2022

Homecoming Court 2022 information: If you love celebrating Beaver Spirit with your fellow students, alumni and friends, then being a Homecoming Court Ambassador may be for you. Let Beaver Pride be your legacy at OSU. In celebration of the university’s homecoming events, you can apply to become a 2022 Homecoming Court Ambassador, joining a long line of student leaders who embody the spirit, integrity and achievements of a true Oregon Stater. 

Sponsored by the OSU Alumni Association, Homecoming Court Ambassadors are chosen based on their contributions and involvement at OSU. As a leader at OSU, selected ambassadors receive a one-time scholarship of $500 and can share their Beaver pride at university events throughout the year.

Homecoming Court 2022 Application


If you meet the requirements below, you’re one step closer to representing your university as a Homecoming Court Ambassador!  

  • Corvallis campus based, full-time undergraduate OSU student

  • Maintained a 3.0 cumulative GPA 

  • Enrolled through spring 2023 

  • In good standing with the university 

  • Not a current Homecoming Court Selection Committee member 

  • Not a past Homecoming Court Ambassador 

The OSU Alumni Association reserves the right to remove any member whose conduct reflects poorly on the university. Please refer to the OSU student conduct code. 

Selection and interview process 

Round 1: All eligible applications submitted no later than April 24 (Extended date!) will be reviewed and scored by the Homecoming Court Selection Committee. 

Round 2:  Applicants with the highest scores in round 1 will be invited for interviews with the committee. Interviews will be virtual and held tentatively on May 16 and 17 (if needed) through Zoom. 

Final Selection: Final selection will be announced no later than the week of May 24, 2022. The application and interview are weighted equally at 50% each. The top six applicants with the highest combined score will be selected as the Homecoming Court Ambassadors for the 2022-23 academic year. 


The application opens February 21, 2022 and should be submitted no later than April 24, 2022 (Extended date!) 


Selected Homecoming Court Ambassadors will attend several functions and events throughout the academic year, primarily based in Corvallis. These appearances are an expectation. By accepting a position on the Homecoming Court, selected ambassadors agree to fulfill these obligations. Exceptions can be made based on circumstances and/or with at least two weeks' notice.

Résumé requirements 

All résumés must meet these requirements to be considered: 

Please include all activities you have participated in during your time at OSU and specify periods of involvement, extent of participation and outcomes.  

If applicable, please also include the following: academic honors and awards, student organizations you have been a part of participated in, artistic achievements, athletic achievements, community service, volunteering and employment. 
There is a two-page limit. Please use Times New Roman font with a type size no smaller than 11-point. Please do not use margins smaller than 0.75 inch. Submit résumés in .pdf format.
