This networking event brings together our Central Oregon alumni, students, parents and community members for an incredible chance to grow your network and find fellow Beavs near you. 

Some special fun is brewing: OSU’s Brewery Pilot Plant Manager Jeff Clawson will join us at this gathering to lead a talk with local Beavs managing or leading other breweries in Oregon. Don’t miss this opportunity to support local Beaver-led businesses.

About the speaker: 

Jeff Clawson is the pilot brewery manager in OSU’s Department of Food Science and Technology, overseeing OSU's brewing research that ships samples to industry leaders worldwide and conducting descriptive, analytical and consumer panels for beer. He has been educating students in fermentation science for over 30 years, since the program's inception: His hands-on approach equips students with technical expertise in brewing and sensory analysis. He also played a key role in developing OSU’s research brewery, installing the original OSU research brewery in 1995; the two-barrel, five vessel, fully automated brew house in 2018; and new cellar with 20 fermentation tanks in 2019.
