OSU Foundation - Thomas Toomey

Thomas W. Toomey is CEO, President and a Director of UDR, Inc.; having served in these capacities since joining the company fifteen years ago. Prior to heading UDR, Mr. Toomey held various senior positions, including COO and CFO, with AIMCO, a multifamily REIT peer. Prior to AIMCO, Mr. Toomey served as a senior vice president with Lincoln Property Company for five years.

Mr. Toomey is a trustee, governor and board member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), a member of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT), on the Executive Committee of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC), is a member of The Real Estate Roundtable. On the OSU Foundation board, Mr. Toomey chairs the Committee on Trustees and is a member of the Committee on Trustees and the Compensation and Talent Management, Development Strategy and Executive committees. He received OSU’s Alumni Fellow Award in 2015 and was named an Innovative Business Leader by the College of Business in 2012.

He received his B.S. in business administration & finance from OSU in 1982.
