Ms. Ogg is an active volunteer with organizations including ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation, a nonprofit that supports STEM doctoral students in top research universities. She was president of the national ARCS organization from 2021 to 2023. Initiatives during her term included the creation of a new strategic plan, the development of an enterprise risk management plan, the expansion of the national organization's role in supporting state and local chapters, the formation of a task force that determined U.S. permanent residents qualified for scholar awards, and the securement of a $2 million donation for the ARCS Foundation endowment.

In the ARCS Oregon chapter, Ms. Ogg has held several leadership positions including president, vice president of communications and vice president of member relations. She is currently the vice president of philanthropy. She was the driver for developing the chapter’s 2010 strategic plan and the university endowment match model that supports Ph.D. candidates at OHSU, OSU and University of Oregon. 
 
At OSU Ms. Ogg has served on the Trysting Tree Golf Club board and the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences Campaign Cabinet. In January 2024, Ms. Ogg began serving as a director of the Washington State University Foundation, where she serves on the Governance Committee. She is also a trustee of the MS Society of Oregon and Southwest Washington; her daughter, Lara, was diagnosed with MS in 2013. Previously, Ms. Ogg served on the New Avenues for Youth board. She founded the Shoreline Public School District Foundation to promote funding for public schools. She received the 2023 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Oregon & SW Washington Chapter.

Ms. Ogg earned her bachelor’s degree in interior design from Washington State University.
